Podcasting Ireland was launched in 2006 by content creators Athena Media to provide podcasting consultancy, training and production.
Since then we’ve been podcast innovators and leaders.
We created the first sponsored podcast channels in Ireland. We introduced businesses to audio and video podcasting. We trained the Irish Times newsroom in social media and established its first audio podcasts. Our radio and podcasting work has won multiple awards, from 9 New York Gold and 1 Grand Award at the New York Radio Festival, to Gold PPI Radio in Ireland and Sony Awards in UK. Pantisocracy won our second TORC at the Celtic Media Awards and our podcast series The Family of Things was a podcast award winner at the New York Radio Awards. Our radio work, the arts, culture and music series about Iceland and Ireland, Mother’s Blood, Sister Songs , also won Gold at the New York Radio Awards in 2020.
Besides making podcasts, we provide bespoke podcasting consultancy services and offer podcasting production and training workshops.
